Labour Day Bush Market in Goulburn Park with the Great Duck Race and entertainment during the day. Bargains galore and funds raised go to local projects.
Oaks Day Luncheon at Seymour Racing Club has no races on the course, but fashions galore and lots of ways to contribute funds for local projects.
Youth projects include Youth of the Year Quest, local school scholarships and RACV Energy Breakthrough support to build vehicles.
Lions Link is a joint project with Seymour Police to provide weekly phone contact with isolated aged in the local community. The program was awarded a Certificate of Merit in the 2004 Crime Prevention Awards for its contribution to crime prevention and safety and well-being of the older members of our community.
Lions Eye Health Program LEHP is a community education program to raise awareness of the need for regular comprehensive eye examinations to prevent blindness. Two of our members are involved in the National LEHP Committee.
We recycle corks, stamps and ring pulls for Lions projects as well as eyeglasses for Lions Recycle for Sight.
Christmas activities include providing hampers to the clients of local social welfare agencies and a Christmas Community Luncheon.
